| Graduate Scheme / Trainee Manager (Leisure / Hospitality) ABOUT THE SCHEME: The objective of the Graduate Scheme programme is to produce our clients General Managers of the future. To achieve this, the programme ensures that the Graduate / Trainee gains all the necessary qualifications, skills and qualities required, to undertake managerial duties within any of our client’s leisure centres and the Leisure Industry in general. It is recognised within the Industry that the best managers have a full working knowledge of all aspects of centre operations and this is the fundamental principle of the scheme. The scheme represents a career platform which will leave you confident in your ability to manage a Leisure Centre. It is a proven formula, given that many of the senior managers have come through the graduate scheme. Our client can provide assistance in re-locating and will work with you to find suitable London accommodation. POSITION: Graduate Scheme / Trainee Manager (Leisure / Hospitality) LOCATION: Various opportunities within the Boroughs of London SALARY: 18.6k and increasing in the second year (subject to appraisal). Upon successful completion of the programme and subject to interview, your salary will increase to circa 24,000 progressing to the GLL Service Manager grade. SCHEME DURATION: 2 Years (Trainees are employed on a fixed term, two-year contract , subject to references, medical and police checks). The contract will be conditional on all the above requirements, completion of the training schedule, qualifications being achieved within set timescales and satisfactory performance reports and appraisals. The trainee will work 39 hours a week.
